The power of communications not only has the power to create a "call to action" but it also has a powerful way to touch someone's heart. I, too, have gone through keeping the hope alive with treacherous cancer news. I can only say that Faith is the best way to keep one's chin up during rough times. My personal motto is that "tough times don't laugh but tough people do." Believe me, it has gotten me through some really, really rough times in my life and has elevated me to this point. I don't have much financial contribution but I do have some super emotional advice to give. I hope you can pass it along. You are awesome for believing in this for them! That's why I love ya prof!!! Unfortunately, because these diseases are so rare there is very little government sponsored research. The majority of the research that does occur is made posble by friends like you.
